Our Roots:
Early Advantage is a child development program developed by Bridgett Wohlford, founder of AppleTree
Christian Learning Centers and Mark DeHaan, the first employee and former Senior Vice President of National Heritage Academies.
The program makes use of the best of their respective
backgrounds.
It is a
new and unique opportunity for families with young children.
The system was carefully and intentionally developed to meet the specific needs of young children. T
he most exiting benefit for families and their children is an
educational program designed to truly give children an early advantage.
Early Advantage is based on the award-winning AppleTree Christian Learning Centers of West Michigan. Their attitude and ideas toward a loving and nurturing environment have made a deep connection with parents resulting in exceptional growth and recognition in their communities over the last 10 years.
Early
Advantage places each child’s well-being at the center of everything it does to
ensure the best possible conditions for growth, learning and development. We maintain a safe, nurturing atmosphere so
the child can be happy and playful in the company of other children and our faculty.
We take extra effort in the details of the facility, programs, and activities
to the children’s joy and delight.
We
get the fundamentals right so that children can direct their energy at play and
learning. We foster the child’s health and
address their basic needs. Children are
accepted and appreciated as they are and for whom they are. They are seen and heard. The children are treated fairly regardless of
personality, gender, or family background. Our environment of acceptance and
care allows children to develop a healthy self-esteem so that they will want to
try new things, and learn new skills.
